Trade Account Policy.
This policy governs the relationship between Swagg and the trade account holder, including eligibility, approval, pricing confidentiality, security and account status.
This policy covers accounts and access. For pricing, artwork, payment, freight and returns, see the Trade Terms.
1. Eligibility
Trade accounts are intended for genuine business customers. Examples include:
- Promotional product distributors
- Marketing agencies
- Print companies
- Apparel decorators
- Corporate buyers
- Other approved businesses
Swagg reserves the right to request additional information before approving an account.
2. Account Approval
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Applications are reviewed individually. Swagg may request:
- Business registration
- Website
- Social media
- ABN / NZBN / EIN
- Industry references
3. Trade Pricing
Trade pricing is confidential. Pricing must not be:
- published publicly
- shared with competitors
- scraped
- redistributed
4. Account Security
Customers are responsible for:
- protecting passwords
- updating contact details
- preventing unauthorised access
5. Multiple Users
One company may invite additional team members. The account owner is responsible for all activity carried out under the account.
6. Resale Expectations
Trade accounts are intended for businesses purchasing products for resale or for business use.
Swagg reserves the right to review accounts where purchasing behaviour appears inconsistent with intended use.
7. API Access
Where API access is available, it is granted at Swagg's discretion and is subject to:
- published rate limits
- authentication requirements
- no scraping of catalogue or pricing data
- no abuse or resale of API access
8. Acceptable Use
Account holders must not:
- scrape pricing
- overload servers
- impersonate others
- upload malware or malicious content
9. Fraud Prevention
Swagg may:
- verify businesses
- hold suspicious orders
- cancel fraudulent transactions
- suspend accounts
10. Suspension
Accounts may be suspended for:
- misuse
- abusive behaviour
- payment issues
- fraudulent activity
- breach of terms
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the trade relationship. Historical orders remain accessible to the account holder.
12. Changes
Swagg may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of a trade account constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
